Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival at Dehradun ~ Dehradun Visit and Stay

Upon your arrival at the Dehradun Junction, you will be met by our representatives. They will conduct you to your hotel in Dehradun where you will have the day to yourselves. After refreshing yourselves with rest and lunch, you can head out to explore the area and interact with the locals and have local sightseeing of places like tibetan monastery,robert cave, sahastradhara, forest research center.

The night will be spent in the Dehradun hotel in preparation for the next day of adventure.

Robber’s Cave:
Robber’s Cave (locally known as Guchhupani), located near Sahastradhara (thousand fold spring), is a river cave formation in Himalaya, located approximately 8 km from the centre of Dehradun City in Uttarakhand state of India. … It is a natural cave formation where rivers flows inside the cave.

Tibetan Buddhist Temple:
Built with the aim to preserve and promote Tibetan culture in India, the Tibetan Buddhist Temple is built in a Japanese architectural style and the temples main stupa is 220 feet high. Spread over five floors, the Tibetan Buddhist Temple contains statues of Buddha and ethereal wall paintings

Sahastradhara:
Sahastradhara literally means ‘thousand-fold spring’. It is a popular attraction, famous for its therapeutic value since its water contains sulphur. … Water drips from limestone stalactites, making the water sulphur-rich and thus it is also known as Sulphur Springs

Day 2 - Mussoorie Visit and Stay

Day 2 – Mussoorie Visit and Stay
Distance: Dehradun to Mussoorie:1 h 11 min (33.9 km) via Mussoorie Rd
Day 2 is Dedicated to the sights and sounds of Mussoorie.After an early breakfast, you will head out to Mussoorie where you will spend the day sightseeing. Mall Road, Gun Hill, lal tibba, company garde, Kempty Falls will be included in the day’s landmark sites.
Once we have finished exploring Mussoorie, you can visit the local market.As the afternoon draws to a close, you will have a stay in Mussoorie hotel for the night.

The Mall Road:
The Mall is a major road of Mussoorie and its is located at the centre of the city. One can reach easily at The Mall by cycle rickshaw or even by foot from bus stand. Nearby railway station is Dehradun railway station (31 kms) and airport at Jolly Grant Airport (54 kms).

Kempty Falls:
Located on the way between Dehradun-Mussoorie roads, in the Ram Gaon area of Tehri Garhwal, Kempty Falls is a beautiful cascade of water that falls to the ground from a mighty altitude of 40 feet. Surrounded by high mountain cliffs, Kempty Falls is nestled at an altitude of around 4500 ft above the sea level.

Gun Hill:
A historical and second highest peak of Mussoorie, Gun Hill is favourite place for viewing picturesque Himalayan range and Doon Valley. A popular view point of Mussoorie, Gun Point is located at 400 ft above The Mall and accessible by a cable car as well.

day 2

Day 3 - Explore Rishikesh

Distance:Rishikesh to Haridwar:35 min (19.8 km) via NH 7 and NH34

Day 3 will be spent enjoying Rishikesh. We will divide the day between sightseeing and river rafting.The landmarks we will visit in Rishikesh include Triveni Ghat , Ram Jhula , Laxman Jhula, Swarg ashram, parmarth Niketan for Ganga aarti.

Towards the afternoon, we will head over to the river rafting site. The river rafting session will last for approximately 2 hours. After this is over, we will return to the Rishikesh hotel for rest and refreshments.

Triveni Ghat:
Triveni Ghat is situated on the bank of the holy river Ganges. This sacred ghat is used for baths for most pilgrims. The main daily event of the attraction is the evening Aarti of Goddess Ganga also commonly called as “Maha Aarti”. You can see the devotee’s offer prayer during aarti.

Ram Jhula:
Ram Jhula (Hindi: राम झूला) is an iron suspension bridge across the river Ganges, located 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) north-east from the town Rishikesh in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. … Though similar in design, this bridge is bigger than Lakshman Jhula which is 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) upwards the river stream

Swarg Ashram:
Swarg Ashram is a small township located 5 km upstream from Rishikesh, on the left bank of the Ganges, opposite to Sri Sivananda Ashram. It can be reached by two ways – either by crossing river Ganges by boat or by walking through the Ram/Shivanand Jhula built across the river. The ashram was built in the memory of Swami Vishudhanand, the saint better known as Kali Kamli Wala (the saint with a black blanket) amongst the localities. There are lots of ashrams, temples and caves, inhabited by saints, inside the Swarg Ashram.

day 3

Day 4 - Rishikesh-Haridwar

The whole of Day 4 will be spent in Haridwar. After an early breakfast, we will head out on a guided tour of the city of Haridwar. The sites on the itinerary include Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, Anjani Devi temple, and Hari Ki Pouri.

Towards the evening, we will head over to the site where the famous Ganga Arti of Haridwar is conducted. After the conclusion of the Arti, we will return to the hotel for the night.

Mansa Devi Temple:

Har Ki Pauri:
Har Ki Pauri (Hindi: हर की पौड़ी) is a famous ghat on the banks of the Ganges in Haridwar in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. This revered place is the major landmark of the holy city of Haridwar. … It is believed that it is precise spot where the Ganges leaves the mountains and enters the plains.

Chandi Devi Temple:
Chandi Devi Temple, Haridwar (Hindi: चण्डी देवी मंदिर, हरिद्वार) is a Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Chandi Devi in the holy city of Haridwar in the Uttarakhand state of India. The temple is situated atop the Neel Parvat on the Eastern summit of the Shivalik Hills, the southernmost mountain chain of the Himalayas.

Day 5 - Drive back to Haridwar

Day 5 signals the end of your Haridwar Rishikesh Dehradun Mussoorie tour package and it is time to return home.After breakfast, our representatives will drive you back to the Haridwar Junction from where you can board a train home.
